Solution for Lid Lifting Mechanism of MaxxFan Roof Vent that Pops and Does Not Lift
Question:
My Maxx Air roof vent will not extend. The motor runs and the lid pops as it tries to extend. It appears to have a stripped gear. Is this repairable or do I need a new unit?

It sounds like your MaxxFan has a bad operator mechanism which is what lifts the lid of your fan. So for that you'd need the part # MA10-20281K-1AF.
I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
