How To Use Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack With Retrax XR Series Tonneau Cover

I have a retrax XR tonneau cover.. for a zr2 colorado crew cab 5 foot bed, the t-slots are 56 inch center to center wide. I would like to use the rtl600 rhino fixed foot kit and a new rhino rack Pioneer Platform 1328mm x 1376mm wil that work ? without crossbars?

I do have an option to use the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack over the top of a Retrax XR Series and Mountain Top EVO-M Tonneau Cover but you'd have to use crossbars. In order to do this you'll need part # RRVA165B-RRRLT600 and the part # RR42115BF which is the largest size available for this application.
