Recommendations for Adjusting the Viewing Angle Up Higher, Hopkins Rear View Camera
Question:
I have my Hopkins installed on a 2007 F150 with a step bumper. The image is good except it shows a little of the edge of the bumper. I would like to adjust the camera up so it displays more behind my truck. Is there a way to do this? I have the camera adjusted all the way up until it hits the built-in stop.

If you need to just adjust the camera viewing angle up a little higher then you could install a couple washers on the lower installation bolts between the vehicle and the mounting bracket to get the bracket to angle back.
This should push the bottom of the bracket out which will cause the viewing angle of the camera to come up a little higher. You will need to get the washers from your local hardware store.
Check out the picture I attached also.
