Suspension Enhancement and Programmer Recommendation for 2012 Ram 1500 4.7 liter V8

Question:

Hello, I have a 2012 Ram 1500 4.7 and Im purchasing a boat here soon that will be 5600lb fully loaded, trailer, fuel, etc. Its pretty close to the max towing. Should I expect a lot of rear suspension sag when towing? What would you recommend to counter that? Would there be anything to give the truck a small increase in power? Thank you,

Expert Reply:

I'd expect at least a little bit of suspension on your 2012 Ram 1500 when towing a trailer that weighs 5,600 lbs. The best suspension enhancement we offer to reduce that sag that also improves handling, ride quality, and stability is the SumoSprings part # SSR-307-47 which are a fit for your vehicle.

The Superchips Flashpaq part # SU4845 will give you up to an additional 50 horsepower and 55 ft lbs of torque for an easy way to gain a substantial amount of power and fuel mileage.
