Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2017 Ford Explorer
Question:
I have a 2017 Ford Explorer w/factory installed tow package w/7 pin and 4 pin trailer wiring connectors. The 7pin even includes 12v contact and back up lights contact. All I need to do is install a brake controller. What I need to know is what controller harness I need and where to plug it into the Explorers existing wording. Thank you.

All you need is the install harness part # 3035-P to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN part # TK63VR in your 2017 Ford Explorer. I attached a picture that shows where you'll find the harness as well as an install video link to this page for more info as well.
