Recommended Bike Rack for 2011 Honda CR-V
Question:
Ive trying to find a bicycle rack which can be installed on a Honda CRV, model year 2011. The rack would have a 3 bike capacity and be a hinged design. Preferably made by Thule. Can you offer recommendations? I cant seem to see a match on your website. Thank you

Although Thule doesn't offer a 3 bike hitch mounted rack, the 4 bike Hitching Post Pro, part # TH934XTR would allow you to carry up to 4 bikes using either a 1-1/4 inch or a 2 inch hitch receiver. An anti-rattle hitch bolt is included, but if you'd prefer a locking hitch pin, you'd want to use # THSTL2.
If any of the bikes to be carried has a sharply angled top tube, or a step-thru type frame you'll also want to go with a frame adapter bar like # UB01. The adapter bar would span the distance between the seat post and the handlebar goosneck, providing a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike isn't carried at an angle.
I've linked to a product demonstration video for the Thule Hitching Post Pro and for the fame adapter bar. The bike rack video shows the rack being installed on a 2011 CR-V like yours.
For a less expensive alternative, take a look at the Swagman Trailhead 3 bike rack part # S63365. The Trailhead is an inexpensive option if you're just looking for a basic rack at a lower cost. The rack also can be used with 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch receivers, and an anti-rattle hitch lock/cable lock is available as part # S64029.
