Will Running Boards / Side Steps From a 2005 Explorer Fit a 2013 Expedition?

To answer your question about one board fitting two models, I looked up 7 boards that fit the 2005 Ford Explorer, then checked if those boards would fit a 2013 Ford Expedition, and none would fit. I would not expect any boards to work on both trucks.

The Westin 6" running boards you referenced (part # 27/6620/1265) are NOT a fit for either the 2005 Ford Explorer or the 2013 Ford Expedition.

If you are looking for wide running boards that will fit your Expedition (excluding the EL model) I would recommend the Westin # 27-6630-1815 Sure-Grip 6” wide running boards. If you have the EL model then order the Westin # 27-6640-1815 Sure-Grip wide boards. Both models have non-slip rubber pads and bright trim that will improve the look of your SUV.
