Recommended Roof Cargo Box for a 2019 Toyota Sienna

We are going to purchase a cargo box for our Toyota Sienna using factory crossbars on the roof rack. We are looking at Thule and Yakima products, will they work on factory crossbars and if they will not, is there another manufacturer that you would recommend. Thank You

The good news is that both Yakima and Thule roof boxes will fit on the factory crossbars on your 2019 Toyota Sienna, so you can really choose whatever you like to fit your needs. You will want to take some measurements from the center of the front crossbar to the line where your rear cargo hatch meets the roof of the vehicle to determine which box will mount and still allow you to open the rear hatch completely.

From what I was able to determine with some research, something like the Thule Motion XT # TH629706 would work well on your 2019 Toyota Sienna since it only requires 47-1/2" from the center of the front crossbar to the rear hatch. This roof box offers 16 cubic feet of storage and can store items up to roughly 69" long. This box opens on both sides, so you can access the contents of the box from either side of the vehicle, so it's extremely versatile.
