Replacement Rear Header for Truxedo TruXport Tonneau Cover

Question:

I am looking to replace the rear header on my Truxedo F150 cover. I recently purchased the latches from you and the fit perfectly, but did not solve the problem of the cover unlatching. The serial number I have doesn’t seem to match anything you have listed. S/N is 020829202. The date stamp is 298344 050915. My truck is 2015 with 77” bed. I can send pictures if that helps.

According to Truxedo, before changing the rear header, you'll want to first check that the tonneau is correctly positioned on the truck. If the cover is situated too far toward the front of the vehicle, it will not latch correctly no matter what's replaced, so you'll want to refer back to the original installation instructions to ensure that the cover is installed correctly and that the gaps are as they should be.

If the cover is indeed positioned correctly, and replacing the latches didn't fix the issued, the folks at Truxedo tell me that replacing your rear header with the # TX2983-RearHeader is the next logical step.
