Kit that Can Charge Battery of Towed Vehicle When Flat Towed

Question:

I need the pn. to charge my car battery while its being towed. I have to leave the ignition in the on pos. while its towed and Im using a 7 way pig tail. Im told there is something i can buy that utilizes the center pin to the car bat.

We have the Roadmaster Charge Line part # RM-156-25 which basically runs a wire from the 12 volt accessory circuit of the tow bar wiring to the vehicle battery so that a maintenance charge is put on the vehicle when being flat towed. If the tow vehicle does not have this circuit active you can use the part # RM-156-75 as well to activate the 12 volt circuit.

I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2014 Ford Edge as well.
