How To Install Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller In Place of Reese, Draw-Tite, or Tekonsha
Question:
I have a Reese Pilot already installed. Will the Reese Pilot wiring harness connector, plug directly into the RED24FR? Will I have to buy a universal harness adapter RED69FR or does the RED24FR come with a universal harness adapter like the RED69FR? THANKS!

In order to use the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller part # RED24FR on a vehicle with Reese, Draw-Tite, or Tekonsha brake controller already installed you simply need an adapter, the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter part # 331-TPH-017. This will plug into the harness you have now and then allow for use with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller. These will be the only two things needed.
