For your 2008 Honda Pilot the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98851 and the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118336 are custom fit and will work perfectly on your Pilot.
They are both easy to install. Check out the video I attached on the wiring installation.
