Right Size Spare Tire Cover for 205/75-15 Trailer Tire

Question:

My spare tire is a 20575R15 and it is right about 26 in diameter - mounted. What is the right size cover for this spare tire? Will the 26 cover be fine?

Expert Reply:

A 205/75R15 trailer tire, when inflated, measures 27.1 inches in diameter and 8.5 inches wide, so you'll need a cover that will fit those dimensions.

So instead of a cover for a 26 inch spare tire, you'll need a cover for a 27 inch tire, and for the best fit, I recommend the spare tire covers from Camco, as they are the perfect size at 27-3/4" diameter x 8-3/4" wide. They have an elastic backing for a nice, snug fit over your spare and will give it the protection it needs. You have your choice of colors to choose from as well:

- Black: Camco Vinyl Spare Tire Cover # CAM45258

- Arctic White: Camco Vinyl Spare Tire Cover # CAM45346

I have also added links below to video reviews for you to check out.
