Auto Leveling of Lippert Ground Control Troubleshooting Tips

Question:

2018 Ceder Creek Fifth Wheel with LCI Auto leveling. Moved trailer, went to auto level, front jacks ped all the way down, motor ran for a few seconds and then errored out, I can not get the system to raise jacks, is there a rest? I have the touch screen control panel inside the 5th wheel with the quick level on the outside of the trailer. The Screen is showing Jack Timeout. How do I level the trailer or what do i do?

To achieve a successful auto level with the Lippert Ground Control part # LC358590, you want to make sure you are trying to auto level on even ground. If you are trying to auto level on uneven ground you will have to relocate the trailer before trying. You may need to reset the zero point as well. If the zero point somehow got changed or was set incorrectly then the auto level feature will not work. The zero point is the programmed point that the trailer will return to each time the auto level feature is used. I have attached installation instructions to show you how to re-calibrate the zero point.

If the auto level sequence does not perform as described, then place the system in manual mode and test the jacks operations individually to make sure they operate properly. For example: press the front button to make sure it operates only the front jacks. The front, left, right and rear buttons activate the jacks in manual mode. If one of the jacks is not operating properly, it may need to be replaced.
