Adapting Older Yakima Ski Racks To Factory Crossbars On a 2011 Honda CR-V

Question:

Hello, I have some older Yakima ski racks that I used with my old Yakima round crossbars, but was able to get plastic clips that adapted them to various OEM crossbars. I have a 2011 CRV with factory style crossbars that I need clips to adapt the racks to. Do you have anything that will fit my aero style crossbar and mate into the bottom of the older Yakima rack? I see replacement mounting hardware for the newer Powderhound ski racks, but the top part doesnt look like it will fit my older ski racks.

To adapt your older Yakima Ski Racks to the factory crossbars on your 2011 Honda CR-V you will most likely need to use the Universal Mightymounts # Y03590 which is made to adapt most Yakima accessories to factory crossbars that are not wider than 4 inches.

If you can tell me what model ski racks you have, I can confirm that the Mightmounts # Y03590 will work for you.
