Curt Front Hitch with Iron Cross Bumper & Suspension Upgrades.

Question:

My 1997 chevy k1500 has an iron cross bumper with a 3 inch body lift and 6 inch suspension lift. Winch also installed in the bumper. Im looking to get a front receiver mount. Will it be possible to use one with my large front bumper on my truck, it protrudes out. Would like it to use for either a bicycle carrier rack or to tote firewood to camp. Irong Cross Model # 22-515-88 base bumper with bull bar.

There are too many variables to determine if this Curt # 31042 hitch might work with your Iron 22-515-88 base bumper with bull bar, and your suspension upgrades. This hitch is designed to work with the stock bumper and come out just below the bumper. I have attached a picture of the mounting instructions which shows the connection points. From that you may be able to determine how this hitch might work for you.
