Will the Camco Automatic Changeover Cause my Generator to Quit Running When it Changes Over
Question:
Im trying to determine if the above part will connect two 20 lb propane tanks together and supply continuous gas flow to my gas generator such that when the automatic switch over occurs, the flow will not be interrupted which would cause the generator motor to stop.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks part # CAM59005 will work well for your situation. The changeover happens almost instantly and the residual propane in the line will allow the generator enough fuel to remain running while the changeover occurs.
