Rail Kit Recommendation for a Reese 15k Hitch in a 2012 Ford F150

Question:

I have a 15 k Reese slider hitch in my 2004 F350 Crewcab pickup. Do I need a different rail kit to transfer this hitch to a 2012 F150 Crewcab?

To install your Reese 15k Slider 5th Wheel hitch in your 2012 F150 you will need a new rail and bracket kit. For that I recommend you get a Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # RP50081-58.

The # RP50081-58 is a custom install kit that will install in half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling also. Check out the installation instructions I attached for this product also.

Once you have this rail kit installed you will be able to use install your Reese 15k hitch into the rails.
