How To Replace a Seal On a Valterra Waste Valve
Question:
I will be replacing the seals on my Valterra Viper Sewer hoses with the Valterra seal T-201. What is the procedure? removal, prep, install, adhesives etc Thanks

I don't really have an exact write-up on replacing the seals for a Valterra Waste Valve like part # T1001B but I do have some info which may help. If you have a 3" then you can use part # T1002-7VP. This kit comes with both seals, front and back as well as the hardware so this is what I recommend using. The old hardware should be able to be removed with a few wrenches. Then, you can separate the pipes and remove the old seal. If you reverse the order above you can get the new seals installed and tightened down no problem.
