Recommended Two Bike Rack For Pull Along Trailer
Question:
Need reasonable hitch rack for tag along trailer. Standard value beach comber bikes so don't need a rack that costs multiple times more than bike. 4 inch bumper with carrier hitch adapter rated at 400 lbs.

My best recommendation is the Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers # S64663. I like this rack since you still have the sturdiness and ease of use of a platform-bike rack without it being too pricey. You can install this into your hitch adapter or use the included bumper adapter. Locks are not included, so you might want to pick up a separate anti-rattle hitch lock and cable # S64030. This has a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike and fits wheel width up to 3-1/2". Those are the specs of an average bike, but double-check if it's enough for your beach cruisers.
The Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR you're asking about is great if you need more weight capacity since it can handle up to 80 lbs per bike! It also fits fat tire bikes and the clamps are more adjustable for differently shaped frames. If you have heavier bikes of different shapes and sizes, then a bike rack like the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR is worth the investment.
