On your 2014 GMC Yukon the trailer brake wiring harness is located under the left side of the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. You will be able to idetifiy these wires by the white label, and there will be one Red/Black wire, one White wire, one Light Blue/White wire, one Dark Blue wire, and possibly one orange wire.
If you are still needing a trailer brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it offers great features like continuous diagnostic check alerts to alert you to any potential problems, and has a 360 degree vertical plane operating range for additional installation options. I attached the video review for the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 for you to take a look at.
To connect to a trailer brake controller you will attach the red/black wire from your vehicle to the black wire on the controller harness for battery power.
Attach the white wire from your vehicle to the white wire on the controller harness for ground.
Attach the light blue/white wire from your vehicle to the red on the controller harness for brake light signal.
Attach the dark blue wire from your vehicle to the blue wire on the controller harness for brake output to the trailer.
If your vehicle has an orange wire you will not use it for the install.
I attached an article that shows you the correct wiring diagram for your vehicle.
