I cannot the year and make of our class a coach in your system so I have a really simple question. The original tri mark baggage locks have plastic movements. Do these or any others have metal movement and is that or not an advantage over plastic

The Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch with Keyed Alike Option # 295-000078 that you referenced is made from steel without plastic components. The steel is much sturdier and would be harder to break into. That would be the biggest advantage over plastic.
