Why Does My P3 Brake Controller Have a Delay Before Activating

9 second delay when brakes are hit and start working they where working fine then this started

I spoke to my contact at Tekonsha and he informed me that it sounds like you were using a boost setting on your Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller # 90195 and then now somehow the boost setting got turned off. Try adjusting the boost back up with the power buttons and see if this returns your braking performance back to what you are used to.
The power buttons are the up and down arrows to the left of the display.
