Troubleshooting Fail Warning on Roadmaster Even Brake Supplemental Braking System

Air pump runs for a few minutes and stops with fail warning. No brake pedal action.

I spoke with my contact over at Roadmaster and have some things that you can check. When the Even Brake # RM-9400 pushes on the brake pedal 3 times what it is doing is making sure that it is receiving a brake signal from the cold side of the brake switch. If it does not detect the signal then it does exactly what you have described.
The brake signal it is looking for goes through terminal 1 on the Even Brake. What I would first check is that this circuit has 12 volts when the brakes are applied. If not typically it's the third brake light fuse on the vehicle that has failed and caused the problem.
