Do Stake Pockets of 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 Need to be Open
Question:
Ive got a 2008 3500 Silverado with a plastic rail cover. There are indents where I believe the stake pockets are at but the pocket plastic is all part of the rail cover. Do I use a blade and manually cut out the part where the stake pocket indent is located? Thanks

Yes you will need to have the stake pockets of your 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 long bed uncovered to be able to install the TracRac SR ladder rack # TH43002XT-000 which is a fit for your truck. A blade to cut out yours would work.
