Will the Thule OutWay Bike Rack Fit on a 2004 Honda Accord Sedan with Factory Spoiler
Question:
I have a 2004 honda accord 4-door, with a factory installed rear spoiler. Will this bike carry 2 cannondale trail bicycles safely, and without damaging my vehicle? If not, what carrier will?

The Thule OutWay 2 Bike Rack, # TH45JV, should work well with your 2004 Honda Accord with the factory spoiler. Thule designed this bike rack to work with most factory spoilers and based on my research of factory spoilers on 2004 Honda Accords, I do not see them interfering with the bike rack. This rack uses 2 ratcheting cables that attach to the edges of your trunk to secure the bike rack to the vehicle.
This bike rack has a weight capacity of 66 lbs, 2 bikes up to 33 lbs each. As long as your Cannondale trail bikes do not exceed 33 lbs each, then you will have no problem using this bike rack to carry your bikes.
I did some research on the Cannondale trail bikes and found that some have an alternative frame, meaning they do not have the traditional top horizontal frame bar. If your bikes have an alternative or step-through style frame that does not have a horizontal top bar, then I would recommend picking up the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. This adapter will allow you to mount your bikes safely and easily on this bike rack.
I have attached video reviews of the bike rack and adapter bar for you to check out.
