Will CTEK Battery-Health Indicator Cable, # CTEK56380 Work with Dual Batteries

Question:

Does this item work with dual batteries if they are bridged or would I have to get 2 of these? Thanks

There are 2 ways that batteries can be connection: in parallel or in series. If the batteries are in parallel they will have 12 volts output. If they are in series then they put out the combined voltage (two 12 volt batteries would put out 24 volts). Provided that the batteries are connected in parallel and have an output of 12 volts then you can use the CTEK Battery-Health Indicator Cable, # CTEK56380. If the batteries are in a series then you would need one for each battery.

When charging the batteries you would need to disconnect them from each other and charge each one individually. I have included a link to our FAQ article on CTEK battery chargers for you to view.
