Do Clearance Lights Need Signal Wire and Brake Light Wire Spliced In?

Just ordered trailer wiring kit. I need to know if my clearance that have blinkers need signal wire and brake light wire spliced in or does the signal wire have a constant 12 volts to it

Your clearance lights with blinkers will need both circuits to function as both a running light and a turn signal because the turn signal does not have a constant 12 volts. Your trailer wire likely runs on combined wiring, so the light will also light up with your brake lights if you have it hooked up to the turn signals. To prevent this, you need a converter like # C56196.
