The bike isnt able to be carried on the rack Is there an adapter bar that will allow it to work?

Yes you could use the Kuat bike frame adapter bar part # UB01 with your Cannondale bike so that it will fit on the Thule Hitching Post Bike Rack # TH934XTR that you have and you'd be set. This attaches to the steering stem and seat post to give your bike rack a level bar to attach to.
