Parts Needed to Tow Trailer with Reese Revolution with 2014 Ram 1500 5.5 ft Bed

Question:

I saw John Hs answers to a question about Reese Revolution. I may soon buy a 2014 Forest River - Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite with Floorplan: 8280WS and the Reese Revolution. John H said to send year, make and model of your tow vehicle, then I can choose the correct install kit for you. So, the tow vehicle is a 2014 RAM 1500 4x4 with the 5.7L Hemi, crew cab, and 5 1/2 foot bed. Please advise as to what I should get to install in the truck bed and thanks for your time.

Thanks for the info! So what you'd want is a fixed hitch like the Reese 16k hitch part # RP30047 with a custom fit rail kit for your 2014 Ram 1500 5.5 foot bed like part # RP50142-58 plus the wedge part # SWW-03 and you'd have everything needed to use the Reese Revolution of the Forest River Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite you may buy!
