What Type of Base Plate Does Curt Tow Bar Attach to for 1998 Jeep Wrangler

what tow bars can I use with the Curt base? I am having a hard time understanding this.

This Curt tow bar part # C19745 is designed to be used with the included brackets that would attach directly to a vehicle bumper/frame. It's not a very sophisticated or easy to use setup as most vehicles don't have steel bumpers rated for flat towing.

For flat towing a 1998 Jeep TF I'd rather recommend a base plate kit like the # RM-521424-5 and a tow bar like the part # RM-501.
