The best trailer brake controller for your 2019 Ram 3500 is the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180.

There a number of reasons why the Echo stands above the rest - effectiveness and ease of use. It is a proportional brake controller which responds to the deceleration of your truck for smooth braking (you will not have to push any buttons to activate your trailer's brakes), and is easily set up with an app on your smartphone.

So not only are you getting outstanding trailer braking, you also get to use your phone to install it, which is a device that you're already comfortable using. The Curt Echo # C51180 will simply plug into the 7-way on the back of your Ram 3500 with absolutely no additional wiring necessary.

This means no bulky unit in your cab, saving you precious space and the hassle of having to drill under your dash to mount it. The only other option I recommend checking out, if you wanted a more traditional brake controller and didn't want to have to use your phone, is the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR.

The Tow-Pro Elite controls the brakes with a control knob that, like the Echo, also keeps a cumbersome unit out of the cab of your truck. Some people like this because it gives you the most easily accessible way to adjust the trailer's braking power and hit the manual override if you were towing a larger trailer. To use this in your 2019 Ram 3500 you would simply need the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # 331-TPH-020.

I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out of the Curt Echo # C51180 and Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR.
