Is There an E-Bike Rack that Can be Used in Hitch of Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2019 Grand Design 295RL 5th wheel. It has a 2 inch receiver and states a maximum tongue weight of 300 pounds. One ebike and one regular bike plus the weight of the rack are well under 300 pounds. Why can I not use it on my 5th wheel?

I have a solution for you but not all bike racks are rated for use at the rear of a fifth wheel trailer which has a much rougher ride quality than a vehicle. The added stress and strain due to this requires the bike rack to be reinforced more than a standard rack. So what you would need is the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR which is an E-bike that is rated for this application and has the higher weight capacity needed for carrying e-bikes.
