Trailer Nose Sits Too Higher with New 2020 Chevy Truck and PullRite 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
with my new 2020 GMC Denali and my 2900 Pullrite with the new to fit the puck system Im sitting 7.50 inches from the bed rail to the bottom of the Fifth wheel. I was told that If I raised my pin box that would lower the front. My fifth wheel sits at 19.75. I have a problem with the new truck that sits higher than our 2015 I was not sitting level. Looking at the B&W rvk 3700 to bring the pin box down. The Pull rite with the puck adapter takes up so much room.

Correct, some pin boxes can be adjusted to lower or raise the nose of the trailer. That said, usually the fifth wheel hitch will get adjusted as well as the pin box alone is likely not enough. The PullRite SuperGlide Hitches do not allow for height adjustments so the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch part # BWRVK3700 for fixed and part # BWRVK3775 for sliding would be much better options since the hitch head height can be adjusted between 16-3/4" - 18-3/4" for the fixed and 17" - 19" for the sliding version.
The other option would be to lift the trailer so that you can adjust the nose to be level and have enough bedside clearance. The Tandem Axle Lift Kit # RR23QX is the best option for this.
