Best Weight Distribution System for 7,500-8,000 Lb GVWR Toy Hauler
Question:
Buying a toy hauler camper trailer. Will be towed behind my 2019 F150 Crew Cab Shortbed with V8 5.0. Here is the trailer specs: Hitch Weight: 686 lb. GVWR: 7686 lb. UVW 4871 lb. CCC 2815 lb. Exterior Length: 28foot 10 Exterior Height: 10foot 6 Exterior Width: 96 What’s the best distribution system to tow this trailer Thanks

The Strait-Line Weight Distribution System is arguably the best weight distribution system on the market due to not only the weight distribution properties but also its sway control mechanism which works extremely well. It also has a very wide tongue weight range which will be critical for toy haulers since the tongue weight can vary drastically when loaded vs. unloaded. The part # RP66084 would be perfect for a 7,500-8,000 lb GVWR toy hauler. It would also require the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # 19286 but that's it.
