Will 50 amp to 30 amp Adapter be Okay to Use with 50 amp Source and 30 amp Converter

Question:

I want to make sure that the 50 amp male to 30 amp female adapters only supply 30 amps of power to the RV. I certainly do not want 50 amps going to my RV and have to replace my converter. I will be going to a campsite that only has 50 amp hook up.

Using a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter like the part # A10-5030FBK will be totally fine for your application. The 50 amp power source will be 240 volts and the 30 amp will be 120 volts but the adapter cuts the voltage down to correct number and the extra amperage won't be an issue either.
