Rear Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier for Fifth Wheel

Question:

I am looking to purchase a spare tire carrier for the rear hitch on my Reflection 337RLS fifth wheel. I was looking at the Curt c31006 carrier but Im concerned about the angle that the tire would be at and how close it would be to hitting the back of the RV. The Draw-Tite spare tire carrier 6715 has a much lessor angle and the tire mounts in a more upright position. However the documents for this carrier say it is for front hitch mounting and not for trailers. I did note in one of etrailers responses that it could be used for rear hitch mounting. Please confirm that this is the case. I would also like to purchase the Blue Ox hitch receiver immobilizer BX88224 with a carrier. Will this work on either carrier?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier part # c31006 does have quite the tilt to it and I would expect it to make contact as well. There is not a lot of room for this on the back of a camper.

The Draw-Tite Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Universal Spare Tire Carrier part # 6715 states in the instruction not to use it on a trailer.

The Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier part # RM-195125 will be a good option that has no restrictions for campers or the Ultra-Fab Folding Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers and RVs part # UF15-954730 which is specifically designed for the rear of campers.

Yes the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II part # BX88224 will work well with all of the hitch mount options.
