Recommended Locking Hitch Pin for Thule T2 Classic

Question:

we just purchased a model y Tesla and had factory installed 2inch hitch. we are able to put the bike rack on and all worked perfect there was clearance in the back and pretty happy it work. now the issue we can not use the lock because there is no room for it. I dont have the car today to take pic but if you look at straight on the hitch is in the center and to the left of the hitch is the power outlet for tailgate lights. In looking for a solution and saw the 2 items below. I am onlyinch interested in the locking device and these look similar. the reason is these are sideways locks and could work. wanted to see if this will work as a solution on my bike rack. Thank You Hollywood Racks Threaded Hitch Lock for 2inch Hitches Item # HRLHPT SilentACT Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Thule Bike Racks - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches Item # SHP2083

Without seeing what's going on, the only lock of these two that is compatible with Thule products is the SilentACT # SHP2083. Manufacturers put a proprietary thread in the shanks of their bike racks that only allow certain hitch pins to work, and the SilentACT will have the same threading, so it's a great choice. You could also use the Thule Snug-Tite # THSTL2, but again, I'm not sure if you've already tried this and have run into the same issue.

I would recommend trying to SilentACT # SHP2083 to see if you can make it work; I've also linked a few review videos of these two locks that show them in use that might be helpful in determining if they can work for you.
