Will the CAB-C5G Work with my 2008 Montana 3075RP Camper
Question:
I recently purchased a 2008 Montana 3075RP fifth wheel camper. Want to convert it to a gooseneck to fit my camper and adapt to my 2007 F250 truck with 3inch lift kit?

The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5G is a great way to convert over to a gooseneck from a fifth wheel. It is designed to work on any standard pin box. The cushioning in the head also will improve the ride quality when traveling with your camper.
You will want to check your owners manual to verify that using this will not void your camper frame warranty if it still exist. Since you are lowering the pull point on the frame it can cause stress on the frame because it now has more leverage. This can be combatted by having gussets welded in to strengthen the pin boxes attachment point.
