Rear Seat Cover Recommendation for a Pacing Dog in a 1999 Toyota 4Runner

Question:

My 25 lb terrier paces and hes wearing out the finish on the leather in my old, but hardly worn-out 4-RUnner 1999 -106,200 miles. Ive used mattress covers and a seat protector from Orvis, but he moves around so much that they are pulled off the seats or scrunched up and do little/no good. So will this really stay on??? If not, what will work?

Expert Reply:

If your terrier paces in the back seat, then I would recommend looking at a more secure seat protector like the Canine Covers Semi-Custom or Custom seat protectors.

The Custom Seat Protector, # DCC4251TP, would be your best option. This seat protector was specifically designed for the shape of your rear seats on your 4Runner and has elastic seams that secure the cover to the underside of the seat.

The Semi-Custom Seat Protector, # DSC3012TP, does not include the elastic seam, but it does have an overhang that is contoured to the shape of the seat and are a more economical option when compared to the custom seat protectors.

I have attached product links for each of these seat covers for you to check out.
