Will Draw-Tite Hitch 36288 Fit 2005 Pontiac Grand Am with Extra Exhaust?

Question:

I have a 2005 Grand-Am GT Same body as your 2002.I have the extra exhaust outlet on the passenger side.Will this 36288 fit ok??or what modifications will I need to do.

I spoke with the manufacturer about your extra exhaust outlet working with the Draw-Tite hitch, part # 36288. If your Grand Am came new with the extra exhaust, then it will fit. If it is an aftermarket add-on, then you may have to modify that exhaust by possibly lowering or relocating it.
