Interior 12 Volt LED Light Recommendation for a 7 x 14 Foot Enclosed Trailer
Question:
Are these lights 12v or 120v? Also, can they be surface mounted as opposed to recessed? How many would you recommend for nice lighting in a 7foot X 14foot trailer?

The LED RV Interior Light, # ILL31CB, runs off of a 12 volt DC system. It actually draws 0.107 amps at 12.8 volts. It will not work on a 110 volt AC system. This light is a surface mount light meaning the light will not be flush with the wall or ceiling once installed, it will stick out some. But part of the light from the mounting surface will need to be recessed into the wall. I would do at least 2 rows of 3 running the length of the trailer.
A better option for a true surface mount light with 24 diodes that runs on a 12 volt system would be # ILL24CB. Six of these lights would be all that you would need for a 7 x 14 foot trailer. I have included a link to a video review for you.
