Ground Control 3.0 Leg Binding on 2016 KZ 5th Wheel
Question:
I have a 2016 KZ 5th wheel with Ground Control 3.0 4 point system. My front right leg has been giving me issues off and on for a while. The motor is able to retract the leg just fine and extend until it gets some decent weight on it. Once weight is on it, the leg just stops moving. I blew the fuse at one point and have since replaced it. As a workaround I was able to manually extend the leg with my drill and nut driver but Id really prefer to use the motors.

I spoke to the Manufacturer and this is a common problem when a wire is grounding out or there is a connection failure. If you follow the wires on your jacks part # LC358590 back to the battery and there is no bare wire, it's possible the main ground is bad on the trailer. Also check all of the plugs on your jacks and make sure they are completely plugged in. It is also possible moisture got into one of the plugs and is causing a connection issue.
