Brake Controller for 2004 Chevy Pickup with Tow Package
Question:
I have a travel trailer that weighs about 4000 lbs Will this controller be suffient for my app. thank you Vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Z71 ext. cab with towing package. I also need to know how difficult it is to install.

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885, will work for your application. It is designed for use with 4 axles, up to 8 brake assemblies, does not require leveling and is easy to install.
Since your truck has the factory installed 7-way, you can use part # 3015-P, and plug in directly into the port that is on the drivers side below the dash, and to the left of the brake pedal.
