Solution for Difficult to Turn Handles of Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter Ram OEM 5th Wheel Rail Kit

Question:

Is there a way to adjust the locking arms? Once I tightened the 4 bolts on each puck it is extremely tight and difficult to remove without loosening all bolts at each arm.

Demco recommends greasing the pins of the # DM6099 that insert into the hitch prep package of your truck to allow it to remain easier to install and remove. They also state that if the handles are too hard to turn to remove the nut on the bottom of the handle and remove one shim from the top bushing.
