TM Light on Instead of 12v Light on Curt 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole Adapter with Test Lamps

Question:

I wired up my new dual plug Curt, connected the battery to the black not using Blue\Yellow but instead of the 12v light, the TM light comes on. Any chance the 7 way was wired wrong during manufacturing?

There could be something making contact where it shouldn't be. Check to make sure the black wire isn't contacting the other wires. Then, check to make sure the blue wire isn't frayed and contacting the vehicle.

Also, disconnect the black wire and see if the TM light is still on.

If none of those are the case, then you may, in fact, have a bad harness that requires replacement. You can contact our team to get a replacement.
