There are some great solutions out there for using a bike rack on both your 2012 Kia Soul and your 2018 Toyota Prius, however the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Bike Carrier # HRF6-2 is not confirmed to fit your Prius. For a trunk-mounted bike rack that is guaranteed to fit both vehicles, I recommend the Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack # SA805BL. This bike rack can hold up to two bikes and is easily adjustable to change the setup for different vehicles. Note that you will need the Hatch Huggers # SA3035 to replace the side hooks for use with either vehicle.

Depending on the frame style of your bikes, you might need an adapter bar to use the bikes with the Saris hanging bike rack. I recommend the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 which can extend from 24-3/8" - 33-3/4" and prevents scratches or other damage to your bike frame with its vinyl-coated hooks.
