Plow and Front Mounted Hitch Receiver Compatibility on 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
Question:
I have a fisher plow on my 2015 Chevy 2500hd...i want to put my scooter rack on the front. Does anyone make a hitch that connects to the plow frame under the truck? Thanks

Your Fisher plow mounting brackets will be in the exact same location as is required for a front mounted hitch receiver which it sounds like you've already noticed. Unfortunately there is not a conversion kit that will allow you to use your plow brackets to utilize a front mounted receiver from any manufacturer I am aware of. There is a lot of liability that would go into two companies working together for a project like that.
The only option you have is to uninstall the plow mounts to add the front mounted hitch receiver. However then you have a couple options; you can install a front mounted hitch like the Curt # C31071 for a hitch that fits under the air dam or the Draw-Tite # 65078 which comes out at the license plate mount for more ground clearance.
The swapping of the plow brackets and the front mount regularly will require new bolts as they require specific torque. Other than the additional hardware, there isn't an issue in doing this it just requires the time to swap them for the season. Another alternative is to replace the plow with a hitch mounted plow like the SnowBear Proshovel Snowplow for 2" Hitches - Electric Actuator - 82" Wide x 19" Tall # SB324-168 for example. This is designed for use with the Curt front mounted hitch option.
