Difference Between Standard Duty and Heavy Duty SumoSprings on 2019 Newmar Bay Star Motorhome
Question:
We have a 2019 Newmar Baystart 3014 and would like to improve the ride but dont want to sacrify the smooth ride. Would the Heavy Duty make the ride more stiff and rough compare to the standard duty? Thank you

Going with a heavy duty Sumo Spring like part # SSR-187-54-1 is going to make the ride quality a lot better on your 2019 Newmar. I would always go with the stronger option because when you hit pot holes or go over curbs the ride quality is going to improve tremendously.
Most people add sway bars as well. A sway bar makes the motorhome feel more solid while traveling down a windy road or while changing lanes. Part # RM-1139-149 is the correct rear sway bar for your application. Part # RM-1139-148 is the correct front sway bar for your motorhome. Personally, this is the first thing I would add to my motorhomes suspension because it is a night and day difference.
Another option to consider is a steering stabilizer like part # RM-RBK25-RSSA. This will help with the steering on your motorhome and make it more reactive just like a car.
