Could Greystone Range Hood Vent Above Range

can i block the back off and vent it out the top rv hood

If you had a way to direct the air flow of the Greystone Range Hood part # 324-000085 above the hood you certainly could using duct work, but there isn't a way to orientate the current vent on the hood to push out air through the top of it.
